The Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) will meet on Wednesday, September 19th to review the draft rule it temporarily adopted to reduce the daily personal sales limit of medical marijuana from 24 ounces to 1 ounce, which is the same limit as recreational marijuana. The OLCC became aware that registered cardholders were purchasing the maximum amount of medical marijuana on a daily basis. Due to the frequency and size of the purchases, the OLCC immediately implemented a temporary rule that is effective from August 24 through December 27, 2018. The OLCC intends to work with the industry and public on resolving this issue.
