California: Cannabis for Pets? Ask Your Veterinarian.

California’s Governor Jerry Brown just approved a new law that allows veterinarians to discuss possible cannabis treatments for a client’s pet including those pet friendly products that contain hemp derived CBD oil. The new law lifts restrictions that prohibited these types of conversations in the past. Veterinarians are, however, still restricted from prescribing or recommending cannabis products.
