Washington authorities arrested a licensed marijuana grower and processor for illegal possession and intent to deliver marijuana product, heroin and methamphetamine. The Vancouver Police Department discovered the drugs after serving a search warrant to the residence. The marijuana in the residence was tagged with identification numbers that indicated that it was diverted from Delta 9 Growers’s facility in Longview, Washington. The authorities seized the marijuana products, heroin, methamphetamine as well as nine firearm, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana growing and processing equipment,

The landlord for Delta 9 Growers informed the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) that Delta 9 was being evicted. Officers who inspected Delta 9’s facility after being notified of the eviction found only 13 dead plants. The WSLCB inventory system indicated that the facility should have held 2,218 plants, 646 harvested plants, 218 seeds and 17,000 grams of marijuana product.

This is the third time this month that the WSLCB has stopped diversionary activity within the state. The WSLCB is in the process of revoking the grow license for The Sunshine Tiki Hut and Emerald City Industries.
