The Rhode Island Senate introduced S 0161 which would amend the Slater Medical Marijuana Act to increase the number of medical marijuana compassion centers from three (3) to six (6). The additional compassion centers would be located in Providence, Bristol, Newport, or Washington counties. If enacted, the law would be immediately effective.
